Féile Housing 2023

Our goals are to:

1. Highlight solutions to the housing crisis

2. Empower & inspire people to take action through the arts

3. Generate hope and create a more connected community

4. Education & discussion regarding progressive policies which put the heart back into "home".

A bit of housekeeping to keep in mind:

We will be providing a corkboard and postbox for people to share their housing stories. Please do avail of it, but please note, we’d like to use these stories for a future digital stories project, so only share what you are comfortable with.

There will be photography and videography at the weekend (as well as some Insta lives) with footage to be used for a future public project also. If you are attending Féile Housing please note this for you and your family, in case there are any issues with that.

Children are very welcome to all events until 8pm. After 8pm there is a no under-18s policy. At the community artmaking event, we will have facilitators, but there must be a responsible adult with children at all times.

We are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge, so as many events as possible will be as Béarla agus as Gaeilge, and you are invited to try a cúpla focal where and when you can.

There will be fundraising volunteers on behalf of Galway Simon Community this weekend. This is very much so optional.

The Féile Housing team supports equity, diversity, and inclusion, and we welcome everyone who would like to be a part of this festival to come and join in the fun.
